| A little about the
aims and intent of this site: Everywhere can be heard the lamented undercurrent of dissatisfaction within our modern society. People are becoming increasingly restless and are looking for better alternatives to the way they live and work in their current environment - be this home, work, or at play, there is a growing unrest and a longing for a better way of life. Today, there is disquiet everywhere, especially amongst our young teens and those just starting out on the murky road of adulthood. Where do they go for answers to seeming unanswerable questions to life? How do they react when the answers that are currently given prove to be of little value or import to them? We see the effects outside our windows, on television, in the newspapers and magazines, and on the radio we hear their cries. But what, if anything, is being done about it? Our aim is to answer these questions. To provide alternatives. To develop our future generations so they can take an active role in shaping our amazing planet and all who dwell upon it. And what of the younger generations? How are they going to grow and develop in a world seemingly impervious to their needs, their development, and their evolution throughout their lives? How are parents and caregivers going to respond to these needs? Our aim is to provide the help necessary to develop our children - the future of humanity - in every way possible. To arm them with every device conceivable, enabling them to realise their fullest potential as integrated, well-balanced individuals through childhood to old age. And to fully equip parents and caregivers with all the necessary tools needed to facilitate this. And what about parenting? It seems that young parents are sadly ill-equipped to deal with parenthood, let alone adulthood. How do we cope with sick children? How do we cope with their education? How do they cope with simply being parents? How do we juggle our daily needs like work and play?
Our aim
is to promote childcare and culture amongst all our members. To
promote successful child rearing and the wisdom of the ages that has stood our
forebears in good stead from one generation to the other. Our aim is to promote a caring, compassionate and invigorating society that once again places importance on the elderly, taking into consideration their knowledge and wisdom of and about life. To learn from the mistakes they have made so we need not travel down those paths. These are but a few of our aims. As this site comes fully online, the full aims of Cosmic Connexions will be made available. We will encourage any seeker to read these aims and objectives and will invite any and all who have any form of affinity with them, to join with us, making this site grow in strength and number. Our intent is to create a better, fully integrated, society that will make full use of its latent potentialities to enhance themselves, their environment, their community, country and the planet in general. differences between right and wrong, light and darkness, knowledge and
ignorance, are great indeed, but no man spans the gulf between and embraces both
within himself. Let us not argue as to whose light, lit at the fount of Truth, burns brightest, but let us put our lights together so they may jointly give more illumination and dispel more darkness. May the knowledge of the Unseen God and the light of His Truth be with you always. For the truth of life must be lived to its fullness and cannot be unless it is utilised to make a beneficial contribution to the lives of others. An extraterrestrial visitor
examining the differences among human societies would find those differences
trivial compared to the similarities. Our lives, our past, and our future, are tied to the sun, the moon, and the stars... We humans have seen the atoms which constitute all of nature and the forces that sculpted this work...and we, who embody the local eyes and ears and thoughts and feelings of the cosmos, have begun to wonder about our origins... star stuff contemplating the stars, organised collections of ten billion billion billion atoms, contemplating the evolution of nature, tracing that long path by which it arrived at consciousness here on the planet Earth... Our loyalties are to the species and to the planet. Our obligation to survive and flourish is owed not just to ourselves, but also to that cosmos ancient and vast from which we spring. We are one species. We are star stuff harvesting star light. Carl Sagan - 1934-1996 The Mastery of Life , with all its rewards and advantages, is the primary aim of Operation Gaia. By earnestly seeking a holistic approach to integrating all facets of life via a single vehicle (the individual), we aim to provide the means, the information and the guidance to do so.

The dilemma we face is: “What can we do about the predicament we find both ourselves and our world in today?” Ultimately, it is the manipulation of collective fear, secrecy, polarisation, and loss of purpose within all of us that has allowed leaders to take power and subvert democracy, and who, through these manipulations, we have allowed to take away our freedoms and liberties. By each one of us making a commitment to work on these issues both inside of ourselves and out in the world – and to inspire others to do the same – we can change our collective direction and build a solid foundation for a more enlightened and beneficial future. Several actions can help us to take firm steps in that direction.
Develop purpose and intentions for your life. To live rich, full lives in today's complex world, it is vitally important to give your life clear direction by exploring what is deepest and most meaningful to you, and by developing a life purpose and life intentions based on this. Then choose to live your intentions and follow your purpose to the best of your ability every day. By choosing to live with clear direction and focus, life becomes deeper and more meaningful. This then weakens the seduction of consumerism and media hype which distract us from our purpose, and allows us to more effectively focus on building a brighter future.
Choose to transform fear into acceptance and love. When we notice ourselves feeling fear, we can trace the roots of that fear, so that we are able to identify our core issues and deal more consciously with them. We can open ourselves to guidance from friends, teachers, and spiritual sources in helping us to move from fear to acceptance and understanding. We can also transform our fears through welcoming the ever-present love of God, and the love that lies always deep within our own hearts, and in the hearts of those around us. In doing this, we begin to recognise fear as an invitation to growth.
Become aware of when you are playing the role of victim, and choose instead to take personal responsibility for building your future. In blaming others for our problems, we often avoid taking responsibility for how much we are involved in creating these problems through the choices we make. Whenever we catch ourselves playing the role of victim by blaming others (including the power elite) for everything that's wrong in our lives, we can choose to take a look inside ourselves, and to explore and take responsibility for our role in what's happening. By focusing less on blaming others, and more on improving ourselves, every one of us can make a difference both in our lives and in our world.
Avoid secrecy and encourage openness and transparency. An important way we can do this is to work together to inform friends and colleagues about the major cover-ups being hidden from the public. Then in our personal lives, when we notice ourselves keeping information from others, we can examine our motives for this secrecy. Are we withholding information out of our own self-interest, or because this is really what’s best for all involved? And on a deeper level, where are we avoiding being honest with ourselves?
Move beyond polarisation and the focus on "good vs. evil" and "us vs. them." Every person in the world has a heart. And each of us has a place in our heart that wants only to love and be loved. Consider the possibility that all of us are doing what we believe to be right based upon our beliefs, circumstances, and upbringing. As we focus less on blaming and judging "them" and more on supporting the highest motive in all people – including members of the power elite – we increasingly come to see that we are all one human family, and that we can choose to transform our world by working together for the good of all.
And finally, come together in groups and communities to support each other in making these positive changes. In these groups and communities, we support each other in transforming fear into acceptance and love. We exchange information about all that is being hidden from us and explore ways to move beyond polarisation. We also share our life purpose and intentions and encourage each other to live these as fully as we can. And we inspire each other to take responsibility for our lives and to be the best that we can be. When we gather in community to support each other in these intentions, we join in building a growing network of inspiration and empowerment around the planet.
These suggestions emphasise changing the collective consciousness of the world by transforming both our own personal lives and the world around us. Let us do all that we can to stop the destructive behaviours of the global power elite. Yet let us not overly focus on changing the outside world without first having a solid internal foundation, lest we fall into blaming others, and into the polarising "us vs. them" ways which only further divide us. By reminding ourselves that the most powerful change starts inside each one of us, we can develop more balance and strength to then work towards positive change out in the world.
As we change ourselves from the inside out, we send ripples of inspiration and healing out into the world. By joining together in groups and communities to support each other in this, those ripples become waves which powerfully help to build a brighter future for all of us.
