The United Nations Organisation is an international organisation founded in 1945 after the 2nd World War by 51 countries committed to maintaining international peace and security, developing friendly relations among nations and promoting social progress, better living standards and human rights.

The European Union (EU) is a union of 27 independent states based on the European Communities and founded to enhance political, economic and social cooperation.  Formerly known as the European Community (EC) or European Economic Community (EEC).

The North American Union is the integration of the United States, Canada and Mexico, initially.  The integration of their economies, harmonisation of laws, open borders and national treatment de dacto means the disintegration of these countries as sovereign nations.  Ultimately it will include all of the countries of North and South America into one huge non-descript region.
